The Challenge

For many neurodivergent individuals, sensory overwhelm can escalate quickly. Existing tools only respond after overwhelm has already begun. NUROVA needed a solution that could predict sensory overload before it happens, while maintaining strict privacy standards and working reliably on mobile devices.

Our Solution

We developed both the web presence and mobile application for NUROVA. The app uses a lightweight on-device AI model that analyses ambient light and sound levels alongside optional wearable signals. It identifies patterns that precede sensory stress and delivers gentle, customisable alerts. All processing occurs on-device, ensuring privacy by default. The web platform communicates the product's value proposition with clarity and calm.

The Results

NUROVA launched on both iOS and Android with strong early adoption. The on-device architecture means zero raw data leaves the user's phone, achieving full UK GDPR compliance. The predictive model adapts to individual baselines within the first week of use.
